Sunday 13th September
Had an early phone call to get out of bed from a still very happy Alex. We were off to Blowering Dam for the day. To give Matt's boat a run in, and to try out Jess's new wake board. Matt and Jess are friends of Alex's that I got to meet at her 21st. The water was rather cold... but the sun was nice and the company was even better. I went for a spin in the boat, the boys lifted me onto the bow and I wiggled my way into the back seat It was nice to be part of the action not just sitting watching. Going to give kneeboarding a go this summer. After the drive home we relaxed at Jess's house eating left over party pies and sausage rolls.
