The Missing Cushion

Wednesday 5th August
Stuart was up and out side with Dave and Rob working on the stairs when Nandi, Pa and I arrived. They had found some suitable to practice on near the Kolling building.
Pa and Nandi went for a walk around the Gore Hill cemetery and then caught up with Stuart at physio. Stuart had another go on the stand up lifter thingy. Just loves being tall(and upright) Hard work though trying to work the muscles, locking his knees etc.
We got together with Sue and Luke at the Forum for lunch. It was great to catch up and have a chat and share our journey's and their plans for the trip to Port Macqaurie with Iain to the State junior cycling championships.

Stuart and I then scooted back up the hill for at 1:20 meeting with Bill to help with Stuart's application for a laptop to enable him to continue his studies while he is in hospital and when at rehab.
Our next appointment was with "Gloria" for a coffee before Stuart and I caught up with Alanna in OT to discus and work out what we would need for Stuart to get home to Wagga Wagga for an overnight stay in the near future!!! We have a gel cushion and a special foam mattress to take home tomorrow.
Pa, Nandi and I then left Stuart and Tristan to find their own way over to Mosman where we had tea with the Seymour's(Mary, Sid, Ben and Rebecca). Had a good meal and managed to get Stuart home in Pa's Pajero, managed the transfer with 2 lifts which was a good effort. It was not until we got back to RNS and had the chair back together, wheels on and back rest up that we realized that we did not have his cushion!!!!! needless to say Mum was in trouble. Tristan who luckily lives nearby wizzed back and yippee it was laying on the grass. We met Tris halfway and return the cushion tomorrow.
