Tilt table for stretching

Thursday 6th August.
We were at the hospital by 10:00 today so I could trim Stuart's hair for him before he had a shower. He had a trial run on a shower chair with the gel pad similar to what we would have at home. all worked OK, the pad felt good and he was able to transfer OK.
He had quite a gallery of supporters at physio as Jess had come down from Newcastle to catch up with Him as well as Pa and Nandi. He started the session on the leg peddling machine but had to quit as his right leg was not co-operating, Stuart was unable to control the spasms. Therefore Damien decided he needed to do some serious stretching and got him onto the tilt table working his calves and hamstrings?? The spasms seemed to be relieved by the stretching.

Chatting after the session.

Alanna then had a few minutes with us to see how the shower had gone on the chair with the gel cushion this morning. Also to check on Stuart's technique when transferring onto the shower chair. She gave him the thumbs up and we have the OK for an overnight stay.
The ventured to the Forum yet again for lunch before PA, Nandi, Jess and I headed off home.
Stuart had another appointment with Nick the Dentist at 3:30 where he had the final prep of route canal. He is now just waiting for the crown to be made and he will have a fresh new smile. Tristan and Stuart then headed to the Rowers Club for a quiet afternoon beer after a long day. He decided to send me this picture of his view as I was driving home.
